“The Conestoga Valley girls Bucks are on a roll!” according to cheerleader Arianah Reveron (10). So far the cheerleading season has been 3 to 0 alongside their CV football team. Cheerleader J’ia Brown (10) said, “This season has been great so far, especially with our football team’s ongoing wins.”
Reveron (10) added, “I love FNL [Friday Night Lights] and what I mainly look forward to is cheering on the football team with my girls.”
The cheerleaders are making sure they connect well together as a team. Reveron said, “My favorite part of cheerleading is our team bonding and the things we do to be better as a team.” Former cheerleader Destiny Martinez (12) also said her “favorite part was the team bonding.”
The cheerleading team has many things prepared for upcoming games. Captain Milan Blackman (11) said, “We are preparing upcoming stunts for many future games, including pyramids and flips.” Brown added, “our stunt groups are improving so much every day and we are learning how to set up so many more great stunts for upcoming games.”
Look for the Conestoga Valley girls Bucks at the New Holland Parade, Senior Night, and the remaining football games.
CV Cheerleading Head Coach Holly Winegar and Assistant Coach Paula Gauthier said, “We are so proud of this team and how much progress they have made since the start of this season.”
