Homecoming Week was here at Conestoga Valley High School from October 19 – 25 2026. Students had a lot to look forward to that week, including dress-up days, a community bonfire, the football game, and the Homecoming dance. It was a chance for students to have fun with their friends and show their school spirit.
Spirit Week ran from Monday, October 19, through Friday, October 23. Each day had a different theme. Monday was “Airport Fit,” where students could wear comfortable clothes like they would wear to travel. Tuesday was “Travel Buddy,” when friends could match outfits. Wednesday was “Team Day,” where students could wear clothes representing their favorite team. Thursday was “Vacation Destination,” where students could dress like they were going somewhere they had visited or wanted to visit. Friday was “CV Spirit Day,” so students could wear red, white, and blue.
There were also activities after school. On Wednesday, October 21, the community bonfire took place at CVHS from 6:30 to 9 p.m. There was music, food, and fun. The Homecoming football game took place on Friday, October 23, from 7 to 10 p.m. The next day, Saturday, October 24, the Homecoming dance took place from 7 to 10 p.m. for high school students. The weekend ended with the Music Department’s Fall Concert on Sunday, October 25, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Students were excited to spend time with their friends during Homecoming. Mari Tamiru (10) shared what she was looking forward to at the dance: “I’m going to go with my friends and dance, eat, and have so much fun!”
With a different theme every day and events throughout the week, students had many ways to take part in Homecoming. Some were excited for the football game, while others looked forward to dressing up or going to the dance. No matter which event they chose, Homecoming Week gave CVHS students a chance to enjoy the week together and make memories with their friends.
