The D&D Club, short for “Dungeons and Dragons,” is a club for a popular fantasy table game where people create stories and role-play.

The D&D club takes place every Tuesday from right after school to four p.m.. It is located in room 211 with advisor Ms. Bridgette Meade. The club currently has a little over 20 members, and is very welcoming to new people. If you would like to join, make sure to contact Ms. Meade to let her know you would like to attend.

Conestoga Valley’s Dungeons and Dragons club members find this club’s environment engaging. Student Riley Riggle (10) stated, “It’s really interesting how uniquely everyone’s brains work. People suggest ideas that I would never think of. Having all those different minds in one place is really cool and interesting.”

Dungeons and Dragons is a widely-known game which involves lots of creativity and takes a lot of imagination to play.

“I wanted to learn how to get better at character writing,” student Barrett Rutherford (10) stated. This club was a great choice for him. He added that so far the club has helped him improve his character writing. Rutherford really enjoys D&D, and notices his improvement, not only in character writing, but also his game-play strategies.

“I’ve been wanting to learn about D&D and how to play because of how popular it is, and how interesting it seems,” Koel Hoffman (10) stated. Hoffman enjoys the D&D club, as it is very welcoming. It lines up with his interests in fantasy games that he has liked for as long as he can remember.

This club is open to people in all grades (freshmen-seniors) and is very welcoming to all kinds of different people, experienced or not. This is a great place to learn or to improve your character writing skills, creativity, and gameplay.
